Head of the Schuylkill Regatta 2018

Malvern Rowers had a good day, winning two Novice events, finishing with four singles in the top ten of the Junior and Novice Single Events. Malvern will begin running season next week until Thanksgiving, competing in the annual Turkey Trot Running Race Thanksgiving morning.
Malvern Rowers have shown good improvement over the Fall Season leading into Winter Training after Thanksgiving break.

Gold Cup Ergathon at the CRC

Great excitement as teams from Malvern Prep, Haverford School, Unionville, Agnes Irwin, and Merion Mercy competed with Olympic medalists and World Champions invited by the Gold Cup Foundation. Malvern athletes competed with Damir Martin from Croatia, two time Olympic Silver Medalist and World Rowing Champion. 
All kids participated in a question and answer session with the GC athletes afterwards.
GC athletes from Croatia, Ireland, Canada, Norway, USA, New Zealand, and Germany will compete in singles for a $10,000 prize this Saturday at the Head of the Schuylkill Regatta.

Head of the Charles 2018 Results

Six Malvern Rowers had a fair day at the 54th Head of the Charles Regatta racing against top competitors from around the USA. Malvern’s top finish was 13th out of 43 Clubs and Schools in the Youth Double event. 

The team races next weekend at the Head of the Schuylkill Regatta.

Navy Day 2018 Results

15 Malvern Rowers raced at the Navy Day Regatta in the Varsity Single Event, finishing 9th, 10th, and 11th in a field of 51 scullers. Standouts were Sophomores Colin Munyan and Quinn Hall and Junior Drew Morris, all three beginning their second year of rowing.

Six Malvern Rowers will be traveling to Boston next weekend to race in the Head of the Charles Regatta.
